A very tasty buttertart filling!
Sugar, corn syrup solids, wheat flour, hydrogenated vegetable oil (soybean and/or cottonseed oil), dried whole egg, dried yolk, salt, potassium sorbate, artificial flavours, corn starch, dextrose, propylene glycol. May contain egg, milk, soy, wheat and sulphites, if not already present as an ingredient.
Place 500g (3 cups) of buttertart mix in mixing bowl. Use a wire whisk and begin mixing at low speed. Add 3/4 cup of water and mix until uniform, then scrape bowl. Add another 3/4 cup of water slowly and mix 4 minutes at low speed. Place small amount of raisins or pecans in bottom of unbaked tart shells if desired. Pour prepared butter tart filling into tart shells. Bake at 375˚F for 20 - 25 minutes.
Yields approx. 30 - 3" tarts.
Use with Mom's Pantry's 2" or 3" tart shells.
