Exciting New Healthy Living Products Added to Mom's Classic Order Form - Get Your Daily Dose of Fruits & Veggies

As a family owned and operated company, Mom's Pantry is continually striving to provide the highest quality food and baking products to the pantries and tables in homes across Canada. Over the last couple of years we have taken steps to ensure we have nut free and gluten free products to choose from as we know it is a growing concern in schools and in families as it is in our own.
We are now excited to announce we have added some other healthy living foods to our Classic Order Form. Now, customers of Mom's can get their daily dose of fruits and vegetables through their fundraiser.
Gourmet Fruit & Vegetable Mixes are now available. You can use them for quick and easy stir fries, or grab a bag of blueberries and use them in your cereal or create a delicious smoothie with strawberries, mangos, raspberries (throw in a little Mom's Flax Seed for an even healthier dose of goodness and nutrition to start your day!).
These new product additions are an important part of a healthy diet and provide your group with more healthy food options for your customers, making selling Mom's Pantry Products even easier!

UNIVERSITY OF MANITOBA WINS THE SPRING GIVEAWAY!
Mom's Pantry is excited to announce the winner of the "Spring Early Bird $1,000 Giveaway" ---- University of Manitoba!
Thank you to all schools and groups that ran a spring fundraiser this year. We were excited to see many returning customers who did both a fall and spring fundraising campaign with Mom's as well as a number of new fundraising groups.
Our entire team here at Mom's was proud to be a part of the Spring Giveway and we are all extremely happy for the winning organization. "Like Skate Brandon in the Fall, we were really excited to be able to give an additional cheque of $1,000 to the University of Manitoba following their spring fundraiser", says Maureen Wiebe, General Manager of Fundraising.
We would like to send a special THANK YOU out to all of the organizations that chose Mom's Pantry for their fundraising needs this past spring. Your business and loyalty means alot to all of us here at Mom's and we look forward to hearing from you this fall! We are also excited to announce that we have set up a new promotion for the fall which will help groups raise even more money for their much needed programs. Our Go Green and Earn up to 2% extra profit begins in the Fall, so encourage your customers to use the online ordering as it will increase your commission and help towards Mom's going green initiative. Here at Mom's Pantry, we strive to offer you the best products available! We are constantly looking for new and exciting products to help you meet your fundraising goal. Over the past year we have added many gluten free products as well as 6 new NUT FREE products, including:

ALLERGY NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS
ALLERGY NOTICE - MILK PRODUCT (WHEY POWDER) IN CINNAMON ROLLS
To all our valued customers, in our efforts to reduce transfat in our cinnamon rolls we recently adjusted the ingredients. We were just notified that within the margarine there is a milk derivative called "Whey Powder" that is undeclared on our packaging/label. This can be an allergen for some people. It is our duty to you to ensure we provide the correct ingredients on all of our labels and we diligently try to ensure we do so. However, in this case our box label does not include the full ingredients for the new margarine. We sincerely apologize for missing this on our box labels.
Please be assured that this is a packaging issue and not a product issue. We have never had any reported reactions to the cinnamon rolls. We are acting immediately to ensure we provide all the necessary information to our customers. We have new labels being made and will be on all the boxes of cinnamon rolls going out from this point on. We also immediately put a note on our website under "cinnamon rolls" so that those who do have an allergy to whey powder are aware.
Founders, Jim and Leonie Olcen have been supporting schools, organizations and communities for many, many years and have a large family themselves with 6 kids, 13 grandkids and 2 great grandkids. They have always taken a hands on personable approach and sincerely care about their customers. In fact, you still may have your phone call answered by Leonie or your delivery made by Jim. It is always important to them that Mom's Pantry is a name you can count on to provide quality products for your family. They have recently introduced gluten free and peanut free products for their fundraising programs and will continue to do their best to ensure they can help groups/schools raise money for their much needed programs.

SKATE BRANDON WINS $1,000 EARLY BIRD GIVEAWAY!

Out of 329 fundraising groups entered into the random draw, SKATE BRANDON was the winning entry! Founder Jim Olcen and President Leonie Olcen were on hand for the draw, and Jim made the call personally to the coordinator of SKATE BRANDON this morning with the exciting news!

After decades in the fundraising business Mom's Pantry is excited to announce the move to the internet with their new ONLINE ORDERING via their website www.momspantry.ca. The advantages are many with this new online system as it allows customers to find what they want anytime as access is at their fingertips, and it also helps reduce our environmental footprint by decreasing the amount of paper that is needed. This new option for ordering gives you and your customers' choice and flexibility in placing their orders and finding out all they need to know about each of the high quality products that are offered. GLUTEN FREE PRODUCTS NOW AVAILABLE
Mom's Pantry has added Gluten Free products to the fundraising line! Our family here at Mom's has first hand experience with Celiac Disease and so we feel strongly about ensuring that our 'extended family', you our customers, are provided with some gluten free products. We will continue to look at expanding our gluten free product line in the years to come. Please note that all products marked as "Gluten Free" are handled and packaged in a gluten free environment that meets all the guidelines.
